Et sinon en ce moment...

HELLBOY II - eeeee, Nuada!

I really, really liked that movie. Stupid Hollywood cliche pregnancy subplot aside, Guillermo del Toro did a wonderful job bringing a dark, bizarre and perilous Faerie to the screen.

Also... New fangirl fixation. Prince Nuada Silverlance. That is one bad-ass Elf prince there...

Hellboy 2... c'etait cool non? Surtout le Prince Nuada. Torse poil. ^_^;;

Heroes Season 3. Just because you look hot shirtless does not excuse acting that dumb, Mohinder. That's Peter's schtick.
(That been said, the Idiot Ball was firmly back with Peter by Episode 4... )

Pendant ce temps...

Heroes saison 3 a commence. w00t!

Bon, c'est pas tout ca, mais j'ai un essai en anim a faire moi...

Animation showreel 2008

Here’s a mishsmash of my student animation works at Emile Cohl, including excerpts from ‘Calculus’, a fim that was selected in the ‘Espoirs de l’Animation CanalJ’.
The intro trapeze artist act, a collab with Fred Bussière, was used as the opening of the 2007 Animanuit film festival.

Dunderbeck's Sausage Machine II

Oh Dunderbeck, oh Dunderbeck, how could you be so mean
To ever have invented the sausage meat machine?

Now long tailed rats and pussy cats will never more be seen,
They'll all be ground to sausage meat in Dunderbeck's machine.

Oh Dunderbeck oh Dunderbeck comment as-tu pu etre aussi vil?

... Je freestyle un peu, mais ca marche presque, non, la traduction? ^^;

"Dites au revoir a votre copain..."

Qui a lu 'De Bons Presages' de Gaiman et Pratchett? ^^

"Say goodbye to your little friend..."
Good Omens fanart. Cross-posting from DevArt.

OMG nudity inside

Yeah, so no-one who's been by my DeviantArt account can fail to notice that I'm a 'Labyrinth' fangirl. So, this is messin' around in Photoshop, trying to finish a decent digital paint... yeah. Somehow never have the patience to do the final smoothing...

FILM

My personal web page needs a rather major sprucing-up (summer holiday plans...), but in the meantime, here's the video of my animated short, my student film as a final year at Ecole Emile Cohl - "All that glitters"

Traditional animation, and Adobe AfterEffects.

previz diplome

Here's a sneak peak at the project

"All that glitters.."

I HAS A SHINEY!

Still loooots of work to do yet...

Canal J competition

DIPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME.

Very, very, very busy months working on my animation final project. But the short film a group of us made this first term for a national animation contest between schools is airing on TV, and competing with 40-so others. Go check it out (and vote for us!) at

http://www.canalj.net/espoirs_anim/

('Calcul Mental' is the very first film on the grid, w00t! Results of the vote - one pro selection, and one kid's choice - will be announced at the Annecy animation festival in June.)

Speedy Todd

I liked it. ^_^

Calcul Mental - short animated film

- "Tu triches, Raphael!! Allez, au tableau!"

Work done for a one-minute short animated film for children's TV channel (in a national contest for animation schools). I did the character design on the two main characters, and animated the scary teacher-lady.

Dunderbeck's wonderful Sausage Machine

There was a man named Dunderbeck, invented a machine,
For grinding things to sausage meat and it was run by steam.
Now kitchen cats and long-tailed rats will never more be seen,
They'll all be ground to sausage meat in Dunderbeck's machine.

Oh Dunderbeck, oh Dunderbeck, how could you be so mean
To ever have invented the sausage meat machine?
Now long tailed rats and pussy cats will never more be seen,
They'll all be ground to sausage meat in Dunderbeck's machine.

One day a little fat boy came walking in the store.
He bought a pound of sausage and laid them on the floor.
Then he began to whistle, he whistled up a tune,
The sausages, they jumped, they barked, they danced 'round the room.

On day the thing got busted, the darn thing wouldn't go,
And Dunderbeck, he crawled inside to see what made it so.
His wife, she had a nightmare, she was walking in her sleep
She gave a yank and turned the crank and Dunderbeck was meat.

Cup of tea? (also chutier de diplome)

Another idea that didn't make the cut... A little old lady in the nursing home ends up having a nice cup of tea with the Grim Reaper.
