Petite compil de travaux d'animation réalisés à Emile Cohl, y compris des extraits de ‘Calcul Mental’, le court-métrage du concours CanalJ, et de la séquence d'ouverture du festival de courts-métrages de l'Animanuit 2007 (réalisée avec Fred Bussière).





Here’s a mishsmash of my student animation works at Emile Cohl, including excerpts from ‘Calculus’, a fim that was selected in the ‘Espoirs de l’Animation CanalJ’.
The intro trapeze artist act, a collab with Fred Bussière, was used as the opening of the 2007 Animanuit film festival.

Dunderbeck's Sausage Machine II

L'exercice d'animation AfterEffects 'Fausse Pub' dont j'avais poste les recherches visuelles. L'inspiration vient d'une chanson populaire joyeusement gore.
Cette version de la chanson est interpretee par Caleb Hawkins.

Petit exercice de peinture photosh, encore, avec comme pretexte la serie des livres "Merry Gentry" par Laurel K. Hamilton (Le Baiser des Ombres... et ce qui s'ensuit.) C'est du soft porn pour filles, avec des Sidhe (=jolis grands elfes sensuels et decadents...) qui couchent a tout va, youp-la-boom. En plus c'est dans le texte qu'ils sont luminescents lorsqu'ils sont tout en emoi, donc, une magnifique excuse pour utiliser le Flou Gaussien et Incrustation. Heh.

Bref, c'est du fanart, de la revision d'anatomie et du un peu erotico-goth comme ca se vend sur les calendriers...

C'est pas nouveau, je suis une fangirl obsessionelle de 'Labyrinthe', ce film 80s avec David Bowie en collants et plein de marionettes concues par Brian Froud.

Voila à quoi se résume ma vie ces quelques derniers mois, et ceci jusqu'en juin encore. Je veux avoir fini à temps pour partir à Annecy!

Et vaguement à propos, vu qu'on aura le resultat des votes à Annecy - allez voter pour notre film! 'Calcul Mental' est en competition pour Les Espoirs de l'Animation, le concours d'anim jeunesse organisé par Canal J. (et on est les tous premiers sur la grille des films, vive les hasards heureux!)

Very, very, very busy months working on my animation final project. But the short film a group of us made this first term for a national animation contest between schools is airing on TV, and competing with 40-so others. Go check it out (and vote for us!) at

Speedy Todd

Petit speed Photoshop (40min environ) (et avec quelques brosses à David...) sur le Sweeney Todd de Tim Burton. Macabre, noir, dur, grandiose.
Et réactions en sortant de la salle... J'avais l'air d'être la seule à kiffer - beaucoup d'avis mitigés, un peu perturbés par la noirceur du film et l'aspect comédie musicale... moi, il m'a bien retourné mais j'ai bien aimé - pas assez de chansons vraiment fortes, mais du très beau cinéma gothique et gore...

I liked it. ^_^

Calcul Mental - short animated film

- "Tu triches, Raphael!! Allez, au tableau!"


Work done for a one-minute short animated film for children's TV channel (in a national contest for animation schools). I did the character design on the two main characters, and animated the scary teacher-lady.

Travail effectue pour le concours Les Espoirs de l'Animation de Canal J, sur un court-metrage en animation traditionelle d'une minutes.
J'ai fait le chara design des deux personnages principaux, et l'animation de Mme Crapabelle, la maitresse qui fait peur.
Je dois des remerciements et excuses a Mme Bellemin, prof d'Histoire Geo en 5e au college Lionel Terry.

Dunderbeck's wonderful Sausage Machine

There was a man named Dunderbeck, invented a machine,
For grinding things to sausage meat and it was run by steam.
Now kitchen cats and long-tailed rats will never more be seen,
They'll all be ground to sausage meat in Dunderbeck's machine.

And Dunderbeck, he crawled inside to see what made it so.
His wife, she had a nightmare, she was walking in her sleep
She gave a yank and turned the crank and Dunderbeck was meat.
